Codecademy

Codecademy is an interactive coding website that teaches users to code. There is a variety within the course options. Some include HTML and CSS, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and more.

This website is handy for a librarian who might be looking into some more complex web design who would like to learn HTML and CSS. It can also be a great resource for patrons who come into the library and might want help regarding one of these subjects. I could even see teens and older children becoming engaged in the type of program that Codecademy runs.

The courses are broken down into easy, savable chapters. This platform does a great job of integrating interactive learning in order to learn a new skill. It is user-friendly and helps users to debug their own work. Very useful in a variety of ways.
